Bird attraction at Manbulloo Homestead

Bird watching Red winged parrot at Manbulloo Homestead Caravan Park

We built an open air wild bird feeding area and have started enticing birds to visit.

Some of the birds we’e seen already are:

  • Sulphur Crested Cockatoos
  • Bar shouldered and Peaceful Doves
  • Crested Pigeons,
  • Great Bower Birds.

Nectar eating birds are visiting the flowering Bauhinia near the Manabulloo Station Caravan Park.  The species seen include the:

  • Blue Faced Honeyeater
  • White Gaped Honeyeater
  • Little Friar Birds
  • Brown Honeyeater.

Wood Swallows, Trillers and Rainbow Bee Eaters are prevalent on the fences.
