Activities

The Katherine River (only 100 metres from the park) flows year round and is great for picturesque walks and fishing. Barramundi is the most sought after species, but black bream, sleepy cod and catfish can also be caught. Cherabin (giant fresh water prawn) can be caught in opera house nets and are delicious to eat or they can be used as bait for the elusive Barramundi.
